Museum/Collection Website

Departments can use Cascade to create a website for their Museum or Collection.

The following templates are available for the website.

Homepage

• the homepage will contain:
  • a banner image
  • site navigation
  • introduction paragraph
  • of-note/announcement section (will disappear if empty)
  • 3 highlight sections (used to highlight different information about the collection)
    • each highlight will contain
      • image
      • title
      • descriptive text
      • link to additional information (generally a page within the navigation)
• The homepage template will look like the following

  

Second Level

• Second Level templates will contain:
  • a basic 2 column page
  • a banner image
  • site navigation
  • space for information (can include images)

FAQ Page

• an faq page will contain
  • a banner image
  • site navigation
  • space for introduction paragraph
  • section to put multiple questions/answers  – answer is revealed by clicking arrow
• The second level faq template will look like the following

  

Collection Page

• a collection  page will contain
  • a banner image
  • site navigation
  • space for introduction paragraph
  • of-note/announcement section (will disappear if empty)
  • tile and description for collection items
    • image
    • title of item
    • short description of item
    • link to a second level page with more detail (and possibly images) about the item (use a second level page for this information)
